GRETA with Springer Spaniel Willow:
I have a 3.5 year old English Springer, and I had zero experience of dogs before getting her. I now realise that we had been walking her to tire her out (mainly) and to increase our own step count, her recall was non-existent when we called her name and I had a strong feeling that we were confusing her and not helping her to reach her potential. It was only through meeting Jacqui that I have really learned how to communicate and connect with our dog. I have also learned that Willow was a direct reflection of my inability to connect with her. The biggest challenge we had was that she couldn’t walk to heel. She pulled like she was a husky pulling a sledge, other owners said "that’s a springer spaniel for you’" Jacqui had Willow walking to heel within the first one hour lesson - then she had to train me 😂. I have had just 4 lessons and have learned to get my dog to walk to heel, she can sit and stay (we’re working on extending the duration of the stay), wherever she is on our walk I have a toolbox of verbal cues that Jacqui has taught us, combined with a ‘picture’ that I create for our dog and she comes running every time she hears the command and sees the ‘picture’, through this she understands what we are asking her to do. The result, after just 4 lessons, is that I am connecting and communicating with our dog, we have an understanding, On our walks we have increased the mental stimulation and play and it’s so enjoyable for her and for me!! Training with Jacqui is an education for life for the dog, but more importantly, for us owners. Jacqui is an award winning gun dog trainer with high standards and a determination to help owners connect with their dogs. Dogs just seem to love her instantly, she speaks their language. She expects 100% commitment from the owner and drives success in an incredibly short amount of time. Highly recommend using Jacqui.

Jacqui - both myself and Alfie get a huge amount our of our lessons. You have an incredible understanding of dog behaviour and we have experienced superb strategies to deal with Alfie's inherent behaviours. It is amazing what Alfie and I have done with you - I would never have thought it possible in such a short space of time. It h as made a massive impact and we hugely appreciate what you hve done. You have given me so much confidence with Alfie - you are an excellent trainer

When I contacted Jacqui I was at my wits end - my 2 year old cocker was wild. I live in the countryside backing onto a shoot and I could not even let her out into the garden without her disappearing - I was so worried about her and had tried many trainers but could not get any further. I did concentrated work with jacqui twice a week for 8 weeks and goodness me now - she is an angel. She can be let off anywhere - never chases anything anymore and a complete delight to live with - its like I have a new dog! I did work very hard at my homework and it was tough getting my head around some of it but wow my little girl now stops on the whistle instantly - comes every time etc - amazing result

SIMON with German Pointer Vesper
I've really enjoyed working with Jacqui to train my energetic German Pointer Vesper.
We have been with Jacqui since she was 9 months old (now 4) Jacqui has worked wonders with Vesper's behaviours being unrecognisable compared to that of the naughty puppy she was before we started training. all the results have been through play and building layers in her training. She regularly attracts admirers in the park who are amazed at her obedience. Jacqui's knowledge of dogs is encyclopaedic and her experience extensive.
