My name is Jacqui Crew and I am passionate about my dogs and enjoy training and competing them.  I have worked my way along the gundog path and was stuck for many years not understanding what to do next and found the training on offer confusing.

Because initially I had to learn so much of how to get the best out of my dogs by myself I used more of obedience methods with fun and games, treats, targeting etc all to gain a connection.

I then bought a gorgeous Golden Retriever called Gamble.  Gamble and I worked much of it out ourselves and because he was such an outstanding marking dog we went onto win many open tests
Gamble and I won my very first rosette  which was a huge moment for me and so I do appreciate how important it is for novice handlers to achieve and what it means. 

I started with flat coated retrievers and have a great love and affection for them and had great success with Hogan who won the Top Minor Breed for Great Britain at the Euro Challenge at the Game Fair and was in the winning team for Great Britain. Hogan also won numerous working tests.  

I then bought Dexster and he really did change everything  - So lucky to have had this wonder dog in my life.  He won 28 open tests and 18 Field Trial awards  - qualifying for the IGL championships twice

I now trial, train, compete at working tests and do team events. 

I now have the 4 Golden retrieves - Bogart  Rocky Vespa and Gibson  and a gorgeous Red Fox Lab called Edgar and my best friend Pluto the chocolate Labrador

​ I am keen to pass on my ideas and  help that I can give to anyone and so run training days and one to one sessions  all based on building confidence and allowing the dog to understand what is required with positive reinforcement
