Dexster really is a dog in a lifetime – he has been my friend and companion and has given me so much pleasure with is wonderful temperament and bidability which has made training with him such fun and a pleasure. He has wonderful dark colouring and pigmentation and is truly an incredible dog. He has won 16 FT awards including qualifying for the championships in 2012 and 2015.
He won Windsor against 165 dogs – and so many tests and team events and top dog awards. He always wants to please and he really has an incredible brain and memory and there are times when I just stand back and watch him with awe and wonder how on earth he did what he did. His offspring are proving to be very talented in Europe and UK and all have good bone and temperament. Dexster lives in the house, sleeps on my lap, comes riding with me, picks up 3 times a week, trials does tests and team events. Nothing phases Dexster and his calmness and level head is quite extraordinary but he still has such a turn of speed. This boy really is a wonder dog and I am privileged to have him in my life |

Dexster has won 28 OPEN TESTS and many TOP DOG awards and been in winning teams - in 2015 he won 5 open tests 2 of which were sugar beet opens to name a few: he won Windsor in 2013 against 160 dogs and then came second in 2014 He was top dog at URC Area Finals in 2015, was top dog at Southern Inter-club match, Top Marking dog at Burleigh in 2014, winning team at Inter Counties 2014 and Top dog at Southern Interclub 2015 and Top Dog at Inter Counties 2016............................... my wonder dog 
Phil Wagland (A panel judge) was asked by the Shooting Gazette to pick his top 3 Golden Retrievers and he picked Dexster as one of them

Dexster has been used at Stud and has produced some fabulous puppies abroad and in the UK. I have 2 sons of his Abbottshall Scotch and Hanans Kertis who are both Field Trial winners and stand at stud
For 3 consecutive years Dexster was awarded:
The Alison Nairn Stud Dog Progeny Cup for dog whose progeny has won most points at Championship Shows and Trials during the year: Jacqui Crew’s Echobrook Dexster.
The FT Ch. Mazurka of Wynford Stud Dog Cup for the dog whose progeny has gained most points at FT’s during the year: Jacqui Crew’s Echobrook Dexster
Dexster is renowned for producing good looking pups with good bone and wonderful well balanced temperaments
Dexster is still at 10 years old being used at stud (last natural mating was March 2020 and frozen semen sent to New Zealand March 2020)
His semen is at 97% (documentation to prove this available) and he is available for stud to approved bitch and also frozen or chilled semen can be arranged
