Bogart has a lovely athletic frame with good bone but he is not at all heavy He has a silky fine coat
He has an exceptional lovely nature with other dogs and is a quick learner with just the right amount of drive and bid-ability. He is the same on dummies as he is on game
I introduced Bogart to picking up in October 2024 as a 2 year old and what a natural he is - he is so sweet waiting patiently without any fidgeting or noise. He goes straight out and straight back without getting distracted by other shots or other game and he delivers with the most wonderful soft mouth f - He has improved dramatically throughout his first season picking up and now sweeps and finds birds and does this with complete natural ability. For picking up he is perfect as he is so chilled and relaxed - he sometimes even lies down in the drive
His nature is second to none he really is a gentle boy - sometimes he is a total clown and a bit goofy and throws himself into a puddle or just with his back in the air but all done with love and good intention and he makes me laugh
His looks and nature make him a lovely stud dog and he is siring lovely litters and mates naturally with no fuss.
